Willowby Woods Fairy Doors Die Set

The Fairy Doors die set from Creative Expressions might not look much on it's own, but when it is paired with the Fairy Doors clear stamp set, it is a different matter. The die set cuts out the stamped fairy doors so that they will open, there is a die that corresponds with each style of door. As part of the Willowby Woods collection the fairy door stamps and dies are designed to be used with the Oak Hollow and Toadstool Towers cling rubber background stamps, to create fairy dwellings with opening doors, that look great.

Of course this is not the only thing you can do, three of the doors have been used to create this Christmas card.

The three doors were each stamped on to a stitched hexagon shape, coloured with Copic markers and die cut with the corresponding die. Snow and Christmas trees help to create a wintery feel and a Christmas peel off shape behind each door provides a secret surprise.

When the doors are first die cut the cut line is slightly perforated so that the door stays closed, there is a small finger flap at the bottom of each door that can be used to pull them open. Another idea for these doors would be to cut 24 of them into a sheet of card, put a number from 1 - 24 on each door, and a Christmas picture behind each door to make an advent calendar. The doors are approximately 4.5cm high.
