Sizzix Thinlits Winter Foliage Die Set. This is a great value set of eleven dies that cut various leaves, branches and berries. Five of the dies cut holly, one is a holly branch with leaves on and the other four are single holly leaves in different shapes that you can use to make small holly sprigs by joining them together and adding small adhesive pearls for the berries. There are five different leafy branches ranging in size from 2.7cm to 6.5cm long, each has a different type of leaf. The last die is a branch with a few leaves but mainly berries. Although the set is titled Winter Foliage, with the exception of the holly you can easily use it all year round to create your own embellishments and decorative additions to cards, gift tags and other craft projects.

This Christmas card uses two different leafy branches, the holly branch and single holly leaves all cut in shades of green for a realistic look. The single holly leaves have been made into sprigs as suggested above, creating a very festive feel.

This second Christmas card shows a cluster of die cut winter foliage in browns and greens to match the colour scheme and style of the card.
