Shrink plastic is a fabulous medium that as the name suggests will shrink when heat is applied to it. You can stamp a design on to it, colour it, cut it to shape, and then shrink it down to create your own card embellishments, jewellery items, fridge magnets and more. The heat can be applied either by baking in the oven or using a craft heat gun, the plastic will reduce in size by seven times and increase in thickness by seven times. This is a great fun craft activity for children too although they should always by supervised when heating the plastic. It is available in both clear and frosted finishes.
