Marianne Design Craftables Tags and Tickets die set contains three separate dies to cut two types of gift tag and one ticket shape. The first tag die cuts a circular gift tag, 4cm diameter with a single hanging loop at the top.
This example shows the circular tag being used as a bauble on a Christmas card, cut in red glitter card it makes a perfect Christmas bauble embellishment.
The second gift tag die is an oval shape with fastening loops at either end. The shape is 6cm wide overall when die cut, with the central oval area measuring 4.5cm. This is perfect for adding sentiments and greetings to your cards, you can thread bakers twine or hemp cord through the fastening loops, or adhere self adhesive pearls to look like rivet heads as in the example below. This shape of tag would work well in a vintage or shabby chic design, inked to give it an aged look or treated with gilding wax to create a metallic appearance.
The third die in the set cuts out a classic ticket shape, with perforated edges and a number embossed into one end. The overall width of the ticket is 6.5cm, with approximately 5cm width of useable space to add whatever you want. The ticket could carry a stamped, handwritten or peel off greeting such as Happy Birthday, or even more fitting a Happy Travels or Bon Voyage sentiment. Alternatively you could add ticket type text such as Admit One, which would look good on an invitation or inside a gift card. This ticket shape would also lend itself well to vintage or shabby chic styles using aging and distressing methods as for the oval tag shape.
This is a very versatile set of dies, which will have many uses in your card making and craft projects. The dies can be used to cut a variety of materials such as card, paper, foil, acetate etc. and are compatible with leading brands of die cutting machine.
