Embossing Folders
Embossing folders can be used in conjunction with die cutting machines to create a raised design on card, foil, acetate, vellum etc. There are many different designs ranging from simple polka dots to intricate lace, flowers and flourishes. Embossed backgrounds are a great way to add subtle texture to your card designs. In addition to the original embossing folders there are 3D embossing folders, where the level of the raised area varies to add even more texture. Embossing folders come in a range of sizes and are usually either square or rectangular.
