Cogs and Gears Die Set

Xcut Dies Cogs and Gears die set. This is a fabulous die set, comprising 9 separate dies to cut different sizes and designs of cogs and gears. There are many ways that you can use these cogs, die cut them from mirror card for a smooth metallic effect, die cut them from Metal Textures paper for a distressed metal look. Die cut from plain card, ink with embossing ink and heat emboss with metallic or verdigris embossing powder, or layer with double sided adhesive then add gilding flake. All these techniques will produce metallic effects, you can also cut them from colourful card for a less realistic but equally attractive look. The cogs would be ideal to use on cards for male recipients adn work perfectly as part of multi media pieces. The dies range in size from 2.5cm - 4cm diameter and are compatible with most die cutting machines. The set includes a magnetic storage sheet.
