Hi everyone, here’s a Valentine card with a simple message of love. The background is from the Hearts on a String embossing folder, perfect for all sorts of occasions including Valentine’s Day. The classic red and white colour scheme really helps the die cut sentiment to stand out.
To Make The Card
Start with a white 5″ x 7″ blank card and trim it to 5″ x 6.5″. Layer it with red card, then with white card die cut with a rectangle die that has a small circles border. Cut another piece of white card to 10.5cm x 15cm and emboss this with the Hearts on a String embossing folder. Adhere this to the card front.
Use the same red card to die cut the Love sentiment, then adhere this to the bottom left area of the card. When you die cut the word a small heart shape is cut out, adhere this over one of the embossed hearts and add a small crystal.
That’s the card complete, it’s not difficult or time consuming to make but has plenty of texture and dimension. I hope you like it, feel free to leave a comment to let me know what you think. All the supplies used are linked below.
