Hi, it’s almost Valentine’s Day again! This card has a richly coloured, red and gold alcohol ink background, with red and gold sentiments and die cut heart. Although it is easy to make the end result is quite spectacular.
To Make The Card
Start with a white 12.5cm square blank card and layer it with a 12cm square of red card. Cut a piece of Yupo paper 9.5cm square and apply red and gold alcohol ink and blending solution. Start with the red and use the blending solution to make it spread and lighten the colour in places, then add some gold again with blending solution and use an air blower to move the ink around until the paper is covered and you are happy with the design. Set this piece aside for the ink to dry.
Die cut a small heart with a decorative edge from gold card. Stamp the word everyday across the centre of the heart in red ink then heat emboss with red embossing powder. Repeat the process for the other three words stamping them on to gold card and cutting them down to small rectangles.
When the alcohol ink panel is dry, mount it on a 10cm square of gold card, then adhere that to the card front. Glue the heart in the bottom right had corner and the three words above and to the left of it.
This is a lovely card which I am sure anyone would be pleased to receive for Valentine’s Day. Thank you for visiting, I hope you like it too, all the products used are linked below.
