Hi I have seen wedding cards before using jigsaw puzzle pieces for the bride and groom so decided to have a go for myself. The puzzle pieces are quite simple shapes so the simple stamped sentiment and heart shape seemed to work really well.
To Make The Card
Start with a white 5″ x 5″ blank card and layer it with matt silver card and white card. Die cut a silver fancy edged heart from silver card and adhere to the centre of the card. Cut a plain edge heart shape from white card and adhere to the centre of the silver heart. For the bride and groom cut a jigsaw piece from black card and one from white card. Cut a small triangle of white card and glue it on to the black puzzle piece just below one of the tabs to make it look like a black suit with a white shirt. On the white piece add a row of small self adhesive pearls around one of the blanks to look like a necklace.
Glue the jigsaw pieces joined together to the centre of the white heart, with the black on the left so that there is room for the sentiment strip below the white piece. Stamp the congratulations sentiment in black ink on a strip of white card and adhere it below the white puzzle piece overlapping the edge of the heart shapes.
This is easy to make and creates a fun wedding card with classic colours and elements. Now all I need is an invitation!! Thank you for visiting, I hope you like the card, and if you want to try it for yourself all the products used are linked below.
