Hi here’s a cheerful thank you card, with two pretty die cut birds. Both the bird dies and the sentiment stamps are by Spellbinders, and work really well together.

To Make The Card

Start with a white A6 blank card, then add a layer of dark turquoise card 10cm x 14.25cm. Cut a piece of white card 9.6cm x 13.9cm and ink it all over with light turquoise ink with a slightly mottled finish. Adhere this inked panel to the card front. Die cut the two birds from pink, red and turquoise card, plus yellow for the beaks and black for the eyes and legs. When assembling the birds I found it easiest to start with the beak then follow on with the other parts fitting them around the beak. The tail and wings can be positioned as you like. Cut two small flowers with leaves from the same main colours.

Stamp the two parts of the sentiment in black ink, on strips of white card 1cm high and long enough to accommodate the wording. Glue the first strip in place about a third of the way down the card and close to the left hand side. Glue the right facing bird above the strip so that the feet overlap the top edge. Add a flower and leaves to the end of the strip. Repeat this for the other sentiment strip positioning it further down the card and close to the right hand edge.
