Hi, we recently received stock of the new Cutest Clothes Line die set and the Laundry Is About To Get Super Cute stamp, so it seemed only right that I combine them into a new baby card. I decided to go with traditional pink for the colour scheme, as I thought the little dress looked very sweet.
To Make The Card
Start with a white 5″ x 7″ blank card and trim it down to 12.5cm x 16.5cm, so that it works with the rectangular die sizes. Use the inverted scallop rectangle die to cut a pink rectangle 12cm x 16cm, and adhere it to the card front. Use a stitched edge rectangle die to cut a piece of white card to 10.5cm x 14.5cm. Lightly ink the top third of the stitched edge card with pink ink. Stamp the sentiment in black ink in the bottom right hand corner of the stitched panel. Adhere the stitched panel to the card front.
Die cut the washing line and nine clothes pegs from white card. Cut a selection of clothes, socks and shoes from different shades and patterns of of pink card. Glue the clothes line in place across the stitched panel towards the top so that it has the pink inking behind it. Glue the clothes etc. and pegs so that they are hanging from the washing line.
This is not a difficult card to make, but looks good. Of course it could be made in different colours to suit boys or a neutral colour. I hope you like it, all the products used are linked below.
