Hi this card is another in my series of different ways to add flowers to hand made cards. This time the flower is stamped, coloured and heat embossed. The gold heat embossing adds both shine and texture to the flower, and works well for the sentiment too.
To Make The Card
Cut a piece of lilac coloured card to 10cm x 14.25cm, then ink around the edges with two shades of purple ink. Stamp the flower with watermark ink onto lilac card, then colour it with alcohol marker pens. Swipe it over with an anti static pad, then re-stamp it and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Follow the same procedure for the leaves but using green card instead of lilac.
Fussy cut the flower and three stems of leaves, arrange them on the lilac inked panel to get the position for the sentiment stamp. Swipe the bottom right hand area with an anti static pad, stamp the sentiment and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Adhere the lilac panel to the front of a white A6 blank card. Use thin adhesive foam pads to adhere the flower and leaves, then finish off with some lilac crystals.
I love the rich colours on this card, which are set off perfectly by all the gold embossing. I hope you like it too, if you want to try it for yourself, all the products used are linked below. Thanks for visiting.
