To Make The Card

Take a 6″ x 6″ white blank card and trim it to 14.5cm x 14.5cm, add a layer of gold card 14cm square. Cut a piece of pale pink card 13.5cm square and dry emboss it with a floral pattern embossing folder. Gently swipe over the embossed area with a white pigment ink pad to highlight some of the raised areas. Set this aside for the ink to dry.

Die cut the words Happy and Birthday twice each from gold card. Glue them on top of one another to add extra depth. Cut a strip of pink card 13.5cm long and 1cm wide. Stamp the additional sentiment on the strip in gold ink towards the right hand end. Once the ink on the embossing is dry, adhere the embossed panel to the card front. Add the sentiment strip across the card approximately two thirds of the way down. Arrange the die cut words on an angle and so that the Birthday slightly overlaps the sentiment strip, adhere them in place. To finish off, add different sizes of gold adhesive crystals to some of the non-raised areas of the embossed panel.

This is a pretty card for a birthday, the pink and gold makes a lovely colour scheme, and the crystals add the perfect finishing touch. I hope you like it and want to try it for yourself. All the products used are linked below. Thank you for reading.
