Hi I can’t believe that it’s time for me to start making Christmas cards again, where has this year gone? I chose to use the lovely Christmas Panel and Foliage stamp set on this one, for both the images and the sentiment.
To Make The Card
Start with a white A6 blank card, and layer it with red card. Stamp the leafy branch with berries in the top right hand corner with embossing ink. Heat emboss it with Sparkling Snow embossing powder.
Cut a piece of white card 5.5cm x 13.8cm, ink it all over with red ink, with the edges and corners darker than the centre. Stamp the Christmas panel over this with embossing ink, and again heat emboss with Sparkling Snow embossing powder. Mount this on white card and adhere to the card front towards the left hand side.
Stamp the sentiment in white ink on red card and mount on white card. Use thin foam pads to adhere this so that it overlaps the stamped panel, near the bottom of the card.
I don’t think the photo quite does justice to the lovely sparkly panel and foliage, but it certainly looks very festive. I thought the two colours were enough with all the sparkle but you could easily add more colours or just change the colours for a different look. Thank you for calling in, I hope you like it.
