Hi everyone, here’s the last of my quick and easy cards and indeed my Christmas cards for this year. The Three Christmas Trees die set that I used for this is an old favourite, I couldn’t let the season pass without using it at least once.
To Make The Card
Start with a white 5″ x 5″ blank card and layer it with silver glitter card. Cut a piece of card approx 3.75 inches square. Cut strips of glitter card in silver, turquoise and green measuring 0.5″ x 3.75″ each, and glue them to the card in alternating colours. This creates the striped panel to go behind the cut out tree. Cut a 4.5″ square of white card and die cut the tree and star from the centre of it. Use the tree outline, the hanging decorations and the star dies all together to cut it all in one pass. Stamp the sentiment below the cut out tree. Adhere the striped panel to the back of the cut out layer, glue the hanging decorations piece into place and remove the star so that the glitter card shows through.
MAKE IT FASTER: Use striped card or paper instead of making your own, or use plain coloured glitter or mirror card.
NOT IN A HURRY: I don’t think there’s a lot you can add to this card except maybe to heat emboss the sentiment.
Well that’s another Christmas season’s cards completed, I hope you have enjoyed seeing them and have found something to inspire your own card making. All the supplies used are linked below.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration.
