Hi everyone, the fourth of my quick and easy cards, uses the Mini Pine Branch stamp by Woodware. This stamp quickly creates a lovely background for the card. I chose classic red and green for the branches and berries but I think it would also look good stamped in white on a dark background.
To Make The Card
Start with a white A6 blank card and layer it with red card. Cut a rectangle of white card 9.5cm x 13.75cm. Randomly stamp the pine branches around the edge of the white rectangle. Stamp the berry clusters in between the pine branches. Cut a piece of red, sheer ribbon and adhere it to the back of the stamped panel. Lay the ribbon length ways along the panel and adhere the other to the back. Cut another length of red ribbon and tie it into a bow.
Stamp the sentiment in red onto white card measuring 5cm x 5.5cm, back it with red card. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon towards the top of the card and the bow above the sentiment.
MAKE IT FASTER: You could use a ready made bow instead of tying your own. You could use a ready made sentiment panel instead of stamping your own
NOT IN A HURRY: All the stamping could be heat embossed for extra shine and texture.
A great card in classic Christmas colours, which could be varied, as could the wording of the sentiment. Thank you for reading, I hope you like the card. All the supplies used are linked below.
