Hi everyone, here’s a very cute card from our guest designer Garcia. She used stamps from the Donuts About You set to create this lovely anniversary card. She has also gone a step further and made a matching envelope too.
To Make the Card
Cut and fold white card to make a 14cm x 15cm card blank. Cut a piece of kraft card 13.5cm x 14.5cm and stamp around the edge with the two heart stamps. The bigger hearts are stamped in Worn Lipstick and the smaller ones in Abandoned Coral. Stamp the turtles on white card with black ink and heat emboss with clear. Colour them with marker pens or pencils. Trim the white card to 8cm x 4.3cm, ink the top corners and the bottom edge with Mermaid Lagoon. Stamp the Turtley Awesome sentiment, a small filled heart and a larger open heart on white card. Use black ink and heat emboss with clear. Colour the open heart, then trim the piece to 8cm x 3.3cm, ink the edges again with Mermaid Lagoon.
Mount each stamped image onto green card leaving a .5cm margin all round. Adhere the two panels to the kraft layer using adhesive foam tape to lift them above the surface. Use the large and small heart stamps with the same colour ink as before, to stamp around the flap of a white envelope.
This is such a cute card, easy to make but very effective and perfectly finished with the matching envelope. I hope you like it too. Thank you for visiting, all the products used are linked below.
