Hi Everyone, here’s another Valentine card, this time with a panel embossed using the new Trendy Hearts embossing folder. The Kraft card, hessian heart and bakers twine, create a lovely rustic feel to this card.
Hi Everyone, here’s another Valentine card, this time with a panel embossed using the new Trendy Hearts embossing folder. The Kraft card, hessian heart and bakers twine, create a lovely rustic feel to this card.
To Make the Card
Start with a white A6 blank card, cut a piece of kraft card approximately 7.5cm x 14.75cm. Die cut one longer edge with a curved border die, then emboss with the heart pattern. Tie a length of red and white. bakers twine around the Kraft piece and tie a small bow towards the left hand side. Adhere this panel to the top of the card using foam tape to allow for the bakers twine underneath.
Die cut a medium sized heart from red hammered card, a smaller heart from hessian ribbon and a tiny heart from red mirror card. Adhere the red heart to the left hand side of the kraft panel overlapping the edge. Adhere the mirror card heart to the centre of the hessian heart and then adhere them to the Kraft panel, overlapping both the red heart and the edge of the panel.
To finish, stamp the Happy Valentines Day greeting on the bottom right hand corner of the white card blank.
I love the embossed kraft card and the traditional red hearts, I fell it all works well together. All the supplies used are linked below. Thank you for visiting.
