Hi Everyone this is a lovely card which doesn’t take long to make, perfect if you are running out of time in the busy run up to Christmas. The winter wishes sentiment is a bit different and would work well if you want to make a card for someone who doesn’t actually celebrate Christmas.
To Make the Card
Start with a white card blank 14cm square. Die cut a piece of kraft card with a stitch dot edge and adhere this to the card blank. Die cut another stitched edge square from white card approx. 7.5cm and a plain square from kraft card 6.8cm. Stamp the Christmas stocking in black onto the small square of kraft card and colour it with marker pens and a white gelly roll pen. Adhere the stamped kraft square to the white one.
Die cut a small tag from white card and stamp the winter wishes greeting. Wrap red and white bakers twine around the large piece of kraft card like a wrapped parcel. Attach the tag and tie the twine into a bow in the top left corner. Use foam tape to adhere this to the card so that there is room for the twine under the kraft square. Use foam tape again to attach the stamped square in the bottom right hand corner.
I love the simplicity of this card, and there’s always something nice about a kraft, red and white Christmas colour scheme. Thank you for visiting, I hope you like the card too.
