Hi Everyone, here’s a cheery card suitable for lots of different occasions. This one is for a birthday so the Happy Birthday greeting is inside the card.
To Make the Card
Start with a white A6 blank card and layer it with black card, then white card.
Die cut the glass shapes, the umbrella, straw and lemon slice all from black card. Put a small piece of adhesive tape at the back of the lemon slice to hold all the little segments in place and cut one triangular portion out.
Use different colours of card to die cut the inside of the drinks, this is a great way to use scraps of card. Arrange the glasses and their fillings on the card front and glue in place. Trim the umbrella and the straw to the required length and glue in place, do the same with the lemon slice placing it over the rim of the glass. Use a marker pen to add some light grey shadow at the bottom of each of the glasses.
Stamp the Cheers greeting in black at the bottom right hand area of the card, and finish off with small adhesive crystals above the glasses to look like bubbles.
This is such a versatile card as you can change the colours used and the arrangement of the glasses, plus it is suitable for lots of occasions. I hope you like it too, thank you for visiting.
