Hi Everyone, continuing with some spring themed cards I decided to use a Cardio stamp set, called Golden Daffodils. I wanted to go for a clean look so didn’t ink the background or edges of the card which makes the lovely daffodils look much brighter, perfect for a spring birthday.
This is a single layer card so everything is stamped onto the 12.5cm square white card blank.
Use masking or stencil tape to mask the lower portion of the card, position the top of the tape slightly below half way. Stamp the daffodils right across the card, stamping over the masking tape and bring them up the sides a little. Stamp the stems first, then stamp the flower heads on top. Stamp a few of the leafy stems where there are any larger gaps between the daffodils.
Stamp two butterflies above the flowers and use a fine black marker to draw their flight trails.
Remove the masking tape and stamp the greeting below the daffodils to the right hand side of the card. That’s all there is to it!
If you would like to leave a comment about the card or if you have a question about it you can enter it below, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by.
