Hi Everyone, for my last Valentine card I used the Adora layering die set. I mentioned in my post about it that you will have lots of small, die cut hearts left over. This card shows you a way to use them up, so you are getting two cards for the price of one!
When I made the previous card I cut two layers in a light pink card so I could play with the layers to see what I liked best. I didn’t use the light pink layers, but have included some of the cut out hearts on this card.
The card is very easy to make just take a white A6 blank card and layer it with black card. Use die cut hearts from the Adora die set in different sizes and colours to cover the top three quarters of the card front. I spread out the bigger hearts towards the top and put the smaller ones more densely towards the bottom. I made the colours as randomly mixed as possible.
To make the point of no waste from the Adora die, I only used hearts that I had cut for the previous card. Of course you can cut hearts in any size or colour you want .
The simple greeting is stamped on a strip of the same pink card as some of the hearts are cut from. It is then glued across the empty portion at the bottom of the card.
So simple, but very effective, this would make a great Valentine card to give to a man as it’s not too fussy. Thank you for reading, hope you like the card. All supplies are linked below.
