Hi Everyone, here’s a card with a Distress Oxide background with silhouette fairies and grasses. I used four ink colours , Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber and Wilted Violet, I did the same as last time, smeared some of each ink onto my craft mat but this time I put down more ink and added less water so the colours have come out much stronger. I followed the same process of dragging the card through the wet ink and dipping and ‘paddling’ it into the individual colours and drying between each application with a heat gun. Before I dried each layer I put some water in the palm of my hand and used my fingers to flick it onto the card, this creates the lighter ‘spots’, dabbing them with an absorbent cloth makes them appear lighter still.
