Hi everyone, as we are well into spring now I thought it was time for a few wedding cards, I have had this Dual Hearts Corner die in stock for a while now but this is the first time I have used it. I love the intricate design that it cuts and the fact that the solid heart is a separate die so you can cut as many of them as you want. With such an eye-catching corner the card doesn’t need much else to be complete.
Start with a cream A6 blank card, layer it with gold mirror and pink card.
Die cut the Dual Hearts Corner from gold mirror card and adhere to the top left corner of the pink card leaving a small border to match the layering. Use a fine tip glue applicator to apply tiny dots of glue all over the delicate die cut shape and press into position. Adhere the separate solid heart inside the frame heart.
Add a gold peel off Congratulations sticker to the bottom right corner of the pink card. For the best results with this type of peel off which can easily get damaged or distorted as you take it from it’s sheet and position on the card use a piece of Peel Off Transfer Film. Roughly cut the peel off word out of it’s backing sheet and remove all the surplus adhesive gold material so that you are left with just the word on it’s backing sheet. Cut a piece of Peel Off Transfer Film roughly the same size, peel off the backing paper and press it down onto the peel off word. The peel off word will stick to the adhesive film, looking through the transparent film choose the position for the peel off word and press into place, carefully peel away the adhesive film to leave the peel off perfectly transferred and positioned on your card.
This is a lovely wedding card that would look good in any number of colour combinations, I like the way the peel off sentiment matches the gold mirror card. I hope you like it, all supplies are linked below.
Thank you for visiting.
