Hi Everyone, today’s card is a very simple one using the Hand Drawn Greetings clear stamp set which I have been using a lot recently.
I like the combination of text and decorative elements on these stamps, so much of the work is already done for you, and they look equally good on the inside of your cards too.
Having chosen the red and beige snowflake paper, the colour scheme was set and the rest of it was easy.
Cut and fold a piece of beige card to make a 13.5cm square card blank, layer this with dark red card and the snowflake patterned paper.
Cut another piece of dark red card 7.8cm square and a slightly smaller piece of beige card. Stamp the Merry Christmas greeting on to the beige card with red ink. When the ink is dry adhere the beige card to the red and the whole thing to the card front.
Die cut three holly leaves and adhere them to the top corner of the greeting using adhesive foam pads to add some dimension. Stick two red enamel dots in the centre of the holly leaves to make berries.
There you have it, I said it was easy! I really like the colours and the way the enamel dots create lovely shiny holly berries. Hope you like it too. All the products are linked below.
Thank you for visiting.
