Hi everyone, as soon as I saw a demo of these layering dies I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them! Here is my first card using the Adi set. Although the die sets are fairly expensive I think the results are well worth it, the detailed designs mean that you need little else to complete a card, the colour combinations are endless and the designs could be used for any occasion.
The Adi set contains three circular dies cut each one in a different shade of purple and layer them on a white A6 card base, use some of the cut out pieces to make decorations for the corners of the card.
Cut a strip of lilac card the same width as the card, stamp and emboss the happy birthday message in white. Attach this to the card using foam pads to raise it up.
This has got to be the shortest explanation of how to make a card I have ever done! The dies do all the work creating a beautiful focal point for the card, as well as some decorative elements. I am delighted with these new dies and looking forward to trying more of them out – watch this space!
Thank you for reading, I hope you like it.
