Hi Everyone, here’s a birthday card that I made for my Mum a couple of months ago. We had the Regal Striplet die in stock for a while but this was my first chance to try it out. I thought the dark
blue and silver colour scheme would be a bit different too. My Mum liked it although sadly for reasons best known to the Spanish postal service it took 2 months to get to her in Spain so the moment had passed really.

Hand Made Birthday Card with Die Cut Regal Striplet and Ivy

The Regal Striplet die is 16cm long and 6.7cm wide so doesn’t really fit on to any standard sized card blank, cut and fold a piece of white card to make a 20 x 12cm card.
Layer that with dark blue card and cut a piece of white card slightly smaller than the dark blue. Die cut the white card with the Regal Striplet die towards the bottom left corner of the card, leaving a margin for the die cut ivy. Adhere the white die cut card over the dark blue card.

Die cut the ivy from silver mirror card and adhere to the bottom left corner of the card, slightly overlapping the Regal Striplet. Add a group of blue and white paper roses to the corner of the die cut ivy.

Cut a small strip of dark blue card just big enough for the peel off sentiment. Add the peel off Happy Birthday and adhere this with adhesive foam pads about two thirds of the way up the card across the Regal Striplet die cut.

Finish off the card with a row of silver adhesive metal gems in the top right hand corner.

It’s quite a quick and easy card to make and could be made in any number of different colour schemes. I hope you like it.
Thank you for reading.
