Hi Everyone, here’s another Christmas card that is quick and easy to make if you are short of time this year. Most crafters will have the supplies or something similar in their stash already, if not follow the links below to the products that I used.
Start with a tent fold, white A6 blank card, cut a piece of gold mirror card the same width as the card and approximately 9cm tall, die cut this with a plain edge die from the Concord and 9th Select a Size die cutting set, adhere this to the top portion of the card blank with double sided tape.
Cut a piece of white vellum to the same width as the card blank and about 7mm shorter than the gold mirror card, die cut this with the same edge die as before, then emboss with a snowflake embossing folder. (It’s important to die cut before you emboss otherwise the embossing will get flattened when you run it through the machine to die cut it.) Adhere this over the gold mirror card using tiny dots of clear drying glue.
Add a gold Season’s Greetings peel off sticker to the bottom right hand corner of the card blank.
There you have it, you could use any colour of card under the vellum and stamp a greeting if you don’t have a peel off that matches your card. I love the way embossing the vellum creates a frosted look, perfect for those snowflakes. I hope you like it and look forward to reading your comments.
This is my last Christmas card for 2017, I hope you have enjoyed seeing them as much as I have enjoyed making them.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Debbie x
