Hi Everyone, it’s full steam ahead with Christmas cards now and time to try out some of our new Christmas stock. Traditional colors and a glitter bauble make a fab festive card with foliage courtesy of our new Sizzix Thinlits Winter Foliage die set, which I think you will be seeing a lot of over the next few weeks as I love it!
Start with a 15cm square white card blank, cut a piece of red gingham paper to layer on to the base and tie red sheer ribbon round it into a bow, with the bow at the left hand side. Use double sided tape to attach this to the card blank.
Cut a 9 x 13.2cm piece of red card and layer this with white card. Cut a selection of foliage including holly from green card and arrange this in the top left corner of the white card. Clusters of small red adhesive pearls create the holly berries. Die cut the bauble shape from red glitter card and fix that in position draw in a gold “string” for the bauble with a marker pen.
Add a gold Christmas peel off sticker below the bauble and a couple of holly leaves in the top left hand corner and you’re done.
