Hand Made Christmas Card with Die Cut Christmas Tree and Stamped Message

Hi Everyone, after my recent flurry of shaker cards I thought I would do something different today. The Three Trees die cutting set that cuts out the Christmas Tree Shaker Dome shape is a great die set to use without the shaker domes too. I have used it here with one of the decorative  backgrounds, there are two other backgrounds included in the set. So you could make lots of variations on this design.

I used a green A6 card blank, cut white card slightly smaller, dry embossed it with a dots embossing folder and stuck it to the card front with double sided tape.

I cut a strip of green card the same width as the embossed piece and about 4cm high and a piece of white card the same width but slightly shorter. I fixed the white card on top of the green and then both of them across the middle of the card. I die cut the Christmas tree from green card and a background for it from white card. I used a Quickie glue pen to put glue on the back of the green tree to stick it to the white background then fixed the tree over the green and white strip.

The Merry Christmas greeting is stamped in dark green ink on to the white strip to finish it off.

I like the simple color scheme and design for this card. As I mentioned earlier there are lots of variations that you could make such as a different color scheme, different tree design, different embossing folder and different greeting stamp.
