Hi Everyone, I used a different technique for this card, the distress oxide ink is blended with a foam ink blending tool directly from the ink pad without adding any water. Before I used the ink I stamped the flower with a watermark ink pad and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then used three colors of ink starting at the edge with Fired Brick, followed by Spiced Marmalade and finishing with Fossilized Amber to create an ombre effect. These inks blend beautifully together, they are creamier than the original distress inks which seems to make them softer and easier to blend. In fact if you accidentally get a hard edge of color just keep blending away and it will smooth out and disappear. Using the undiluted ink makes the colors stronger too.
So beautiful dear! Love it!
Great card Deb's and loving the techniques you've used. Don't as yet own any of the new oxide inks, another for the long wish listx
