Hello Again
I wanted to share this card with you because it is so easy to do but is very elegant when it is finished. Also there are a number of different ways you can achieve this look depending on which technique you prefer to use.
The swirly Christmas tree is a quite a large stamp measuring approximately 9 x 10.5cm so I used a 15cm sq white card blank for the base and layered that with red card, then white card and red again (if I made this again I would definitely try it with a gold layer instead of the white). I stamped the Christmas tree in the centre of the red card with Indigoblu Flitterglu and gilded it with gold gilding flake. I put a small gold adhesive crystal in each corner and added a small gold peel off greeting.
If you don’t like the gilding technique or don’t have the necessary supplies you could stamp the tree with gold ink which will give a flat image like the gilded one or you could stamp the tree in clear ink and emboss it with gold embossing powder to give it a slightly raised appearance.
Thanks for reading, hope you like it.
