Now don’t laugh but here’s another card using paper from the Garden Party paper pad, I just love it, but I promise to use something different next time!
I used a mustard coloured sheet from the Core’dinations Colorcore pad for the background and then stuck a sheet of plain cream paper to the back of the patterned paper and tore a strip from the middle of it. I used a paper scruffer/distresser tool around all the edges of the patterned paper to really rough them up and then inked them with a dark red ink pad.
The card is finished off with a cluster paper roses, die cut leaves, a crochet lace bow and a peel off greeting.
Materials used:
- 15cm square white card blank
- Core’dinations Colorcore Vintage Card Stock Pad
- Garden Party 6 x 6 paper pad
- Cream card
- Red and Peach 25mm paper roses
- Marianne Design Anja’s Leaves 2 die cutter
- Woodware Paper scruffier/distresser
- Colorbox Catseye pigment ink pad Merlot
- 1.5cm cream crochet lace
- Gold Small Text peel off
I am very pleased with the results and hope you like it too.
