I already had the Dovecraft Garden Party paper pad open from making the pop up cox card in my previous post so I decided to carry on using it of another Mother’s Day card, this time with a more traditional feel.
I used an A6 blank card and layered it with cream card that I had embossed and inked around the edges. I die cut green, cream and patterned decorative rectangles then cut the cream and patterned ones horizontally and joined a patterned half to a cream half, I wrapped the distressed cotton ribbon around the shape to cover the join and tied it in a bow. This was then glued to the green card shape and the whole thing adhered to the card base using foam pads to give a little depth.
I must say I love using the distressed cotton ribbon, it sticks really well either with glue or double sided tape and makes lovely bows that really hold their shape.
Materials used:
- White A6 blank card and envelope.
- Green and cream card.

- Mothers Day greeting clear stamp.
- Bundled Sage distress ink pad.

Thanks for visiting, hope you like the card.
