I have seen a few examples of cards made using paint colour swatches on the internet, so decided to have a go at making my own. The paint swatch cards that I could get hold of have the name of the colour printed on them which means the clean area to cut out is not that big. I used the smallest butterfly from our set of butterfly die cutters on this card although there would have been room to use the medium one instead. The colour of the top butterfly was very pale so I covered it with Stickles glitter glue to give it a bit more impact against the white background. I used foam pads just on the body area to attach the butterflies to lift them off the page. The sentiment is stamped. I’m very pleased with the way it has turned out – back to the DIY store!
