Stamped Crocus Birthday Card

I hope you have enjoyed the Easter break, I have been busy with visiting children which was lovely but hardly had a moment for card making. I did get a chance to try out our new Crocus stamp though on this birthday card. I love crocus, it’s such a symbol of spring and appears in such gorgeous colours, I chose my favourite purple for this card but yellow or white would look equally good.
The card itself is very simple with the stamped image layered onto white and purple card, the white card is edged with silver peel off lines, I stamped the flower with black ink and heat embossed it with clear powder, then used Promarker pens to colour it in. The greeting is stamped in purple directly onto the lilac background paper.
