This is the second of the birthday cards that I made using the lovely Four Roses clear stamp, the light on the photograph makes the pink card look more vivid than it actually is, but
I started with a white A6 card blank, cut it down to a square, and inked the edges with violet. I made a background panel by stamping the “All things grow with love” text stamp (from the Four Roses set) onto green card with dark green ink, I also inked the edges of the panel with violet which doesn’t actually show up as violet but just darkens the edges a little.
I stamped the rose onto pink card with Indigo Blu Flitterglu and gilded it with gold flake, the card is also edged with Flitterglu and gilded, I did the same for the message but used a gold Happy Birthday peel off for the wording. The rose and the greeting are both mounted on white card which is inked around the edges with violet.
